“5+2” Regional Economic Blocs

LH is developing the national territory into “5+2” regional economic blocs to ensure balanced regional development.

The “5+2” blocs will be developed into specialized regions equipped for international competitiveness ㆍFive regional blocs : Greater Seoul area, Chungcheong, Honam, Daegu-Gyeongbuk, and the East region ㆍTwo special economic blocs : Gangwon and Jeju
